Efficient production and customisation for hearing protection on a global scale

When Hellberg Safety changed ownership in 2013, Fristad Plast came in as a key partner in the production of the company’s hearing protection. Hearing protectors often include advanced electronics, with components such as speakers and microphones, which demanded a lot from the manufacture of the plastic components.

Customisation and quality across continents

Production initially began in Sweden before being moved to our own factory in China to streamline and shorten the supply chain. This strategic move facilitated closer collaboration with electronics production in China while ensuring Swedish quality and, not least, simplifying the development of new products.

Our collaboration with Hellberg Safety is characterised by continuous adaptation, whereby Fristad Plast is now an integral part of the company’s development work in Sweden. By satisfying new demands and needs from Hellberg Safety as they arise, we ensure that production is always of high quality and adapts to market changes.
